Smile Makeover

What Is A Smile Makeover?

You only get one chance to make a good first impression, and your smile is one of the first things that people notice about you. If you are embarrassed by your smile or your teeth, you will be self-conscious and lose confidence in yourself. A bright and beautiful smile will help you be more confident and self-assured, ensuring that you will give a great first impression.

A perfect smile is hard to achieve, but not impossible. A smile makeover is the process of improving and enhancing your smile through one or more cosmetic dental procedures and treatments. With a smile makeover, you can get a smile that suits you and that you will show off at every opportunity!

A smile makeover is a customized treatment plan with a combination of cosmetic dental procedures or treatments to fix multiple issues, including:

What Treatments Are Involved In A Smile Makeover?

Many different cosmetic procedures and treatments are used in a smile makeover, like:

  • Dental Crowns & Dental Bridges: A dental crown is a manufactured cap that is placed over a damaged tooth to strengthen and restore it. Dental crowns are an excellent option to improve the appearance and functionality of a damaged tooth. A dental bridge is a prosthetic dental appliance that is used to replace missing teeth and is one of the best ways to improve a smile that has been marred by the loss of teeth. Dental bridges are used when the patient is missing several teeth. If you want to learn more about dental crowns and dental bridges and how they can improve your smile, click here

  • Dental Implants: Dental implants are another great way to replace missing teeth. They are artificial roots that act as replacements for the root of the missing teeth. Dental implants can also be used to stabilize dentures. Click here to see if you are a good candidate for dental implants.

  • Dentures: Like dental bridges, dentures are dental appliances that replace missing teeth to improve functionality and appearance. Dentures can be used to replace all of the teeth and missing gum and tissue. Learn more about the different types of dentures and how to maintain your dentures here.

  • Teeth Whitening: Teeth whitening is a popular dental procedure that counters discoloration or dullness of teeth. At Fisher & Orfaly, we use custom-made dental teeth whitening trays that will help your teeth reach maximum whitening level after 2 to 3 weeks. Read more about how teeth whitening is done at Fisher & Orfaly Dental here.

  • Reveal Clear Aligners: Reveal Clear aligners are alternatives to braces that can be used to correct problems like misaligned or crooked teeth. They are plastic trays that are virtually invisible and discreet, that slowly move the teeth into alignment. Reveal aligners are comfortable and do not get stained. • Porcelain Veneers: Porcelain veneers are thin custom-made shells that are bonded to the surface of the teeth to enhance the appearance of the teeth. Porcelain veneers are used instead of dental crowns when the tooth is mostly intact. Read about the benefits of porcelain veneers here.

  • Cosmetic Bonding: Cosmetic bonding or dental bonding is a procedure where composite resin is applied to the visible surface of the teeth. Dental bonding is done to improve the color and shape of teeth and to repair chipped or broken teeth. Learn more about how dental bonding is done here.

After having a negative experience with a filling with a past dentist, I was nervous to go to a new dentist with tooth pain. Dr. Orfaly and team were very understanding and knowledgable when walking me through my options for a cracked tooth. 10/10 would recommend due to their professionalism, attention to detail, and level of care. Thanks team!

Dr Orfaly is the best dentist around! I have alot of anxiety around going to the dentist & Dr Orfaly always makes sure to check in to see how I'm doing & is so nice. If a referral is needed to a specialist, he makes the call for you & gets you an appt quickly (mine was even the same day) I love how they book you with the same dental hygienist for all cleanings.. Adds another level of comfort... Shoutout to mine, Kathy!
