Fisher & Orfaly Dental is a family dental practice started in 1974, offering exceptional dental care for the last 45+ years. At Fisher & Orfaly Dental, we offer a wide range of dental services including general dentistry, preventive care and cosmetic dental treatments for the entire family. Dr. George Orfaly is a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry and has been practicing as a dentist in Salem, MA since 2005. He has consistently improved the lives of his patients by providing them relief, confidence, and healthy smiles. He believes that oral health is directly related to overall health and well-being. Dr. Orfaly has also been an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and North Shore District Dental Society.
Dr. John Fisher is a graduate of Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry and he brings a rich experience of 45+ years of practicing dentistry. He is an advisory member of the Oral Health Committee of the Massachusetts Medical Society. He has served as Trustee and President of the Massachusetts Dental Society and currently chairs the Better Oral Health for Massachusetts Coalition.

After my visit with Dr. Orfaly this morning, I decided a raving review was long overdue. Due to an ill hygienist, and because I was the first patient of the day, I observed the office from a different perspective. Front Desk Coordinator, Kerrin, greeted me with a smile while she and Dr. Orfaly seamlessly juggled the schedule, ensuring no one's day would be disrupted. Dr. Orfaly asked if I minded if he did my routine cleaning. Of course, I happily consented. I have always been impressed with the level of care I have received and found in my nearly 20 years of being a patient of 1st, Dr. Fisher's, and then Dr. Orfaly's. Clearly, this practice puts patient care above all else. I highly recommend this practice.
I have had great results with Dr. Orfaly. He is a real pro - a great communicator, practical and bright. His staff is friendly, his hygienists do a great job and his appointments run on time.
Our family has gotten our dental care (routine and otherwise) from Fisher & Orfaly for over 20 years. They have, without exception, provided compassionate, clearly explained, patient-centered, top-quality dental services and I recommend them without reservation. One of my adult children even went to them for an evaluation of some complicated work they had done elsewhere (out of state). I especially appreciate the measures their practice took during the pandemic — including installing hospital-grade air filtration — to maximize safety for patients and staff.

I am someone who has been terrified of the Dentist from a very young age, but after seeing Dr. Orfaly and his team over the past couple of months I have 100% gotten over my fears. I have never felt more comfortable and taken care of by the staff. Everyone is so nice and down to earth they make you feel welcome! Dr. Orfaly even came in on a day they were closed because I was having extreme tooth pain, and he totally fixed the problem, I will never forget that. I’m so happy I decided to go to Fischer & Orfaly, best decision I’ve ever made!
Dr. Oraly did my cleaning during today's visit. The experience was not only wonderful, but he also made sure to fix a tooth sensitivity issue I have been experiencing by bonding the tooth to resolve the problem. I would highly recommend Dr. Oraly to anyone looking for a quality dentist with a professional and courteous staff. Taylor is my regular hygienist who educates me and always makes sure any issues I have with my teeth get fixed.
